Storage & Handling
MPG is low-hazard but hygroscopic: it absorbs moisture from humid air. Keep it sealed to protect purity.
- Keep drums and IBCs tightly sealed between uses
- Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area out of direct sun
- Stainless steel, HDPE or lined containers for transfer and storage
- Gloves and safety glasses when decanting; refer to the SDS
- Keep away from strong oxidising agents
- Use dedicated, clean equipment: don't mix USP and industrial grade stock
